Humus Palheto


What am I: Quinta do Paço is a family property, with a total of twenty hectares, ten of which are dedicated to the vineyard and certified organic. This Quinta is home to Rodrigo Filipe and his Humus wines. Rodrigo is one of the pioneering and most experimental and exciting natural wine producers in Portugal. The winery is located in the demarcated region of Óbidos, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra dos Candeeiros mountains.

Humus Palheto is made from a blend of grapes, including Touriga Nacional. It was macerated on the skins for 2 hours and was then macerated for a month with the skins of Fernão Pires and Arinto, followed by aging in a used barrel for 10 months.
