Refund policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at +351 935 738 749 or via e-mail at between 9 am and 6 pm Western European Standard Time (GMT), Monday through Saturday.

If, for any reason, you would like to return the purchased wines, you can do so within 15 days of receipt. The product must be returned in the original packaging.

When an order is returned, arranging the shipping and the freight cost is the responsibility of the customer.

Once the product has been returned and received, and we have verified that it has not been damaged, we will process an immediate reversal of any charges.

In case of cancellation of the order before the product has been shipped, the customer will be immediately refunded of any amount debited from his account. If the cancellation occurs after the wines have been shipped, we will only refund the value of the purchased product. Expenses related to freight will not be refunded. The return of the merchandise will be the responsibility of the customer, as explained above.

Special policy for ‘corked’ or otherwise defective wine after opening:

If the wine you ordered and received has any verifiable defects (TCA/Cork Taint, or other genuine wine defects), we will replace your defective product for a new product with no extra charges, or we will refund your money and take care of any shipping cost. If you have received any bottle in bad condition, you can simply contact us to arrange its collection within 30 days of receiving your order.

For any defective bottle to be sent back to Real Portuguese Wine, we must receive a minimum of 75% of the wine in each bottle in order to assess its status and process the replacement or refund.

If you are shipping an item over 75€, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
