What am I: Espera Rose
Espera Wines is a small, family-run project on just 3 hectares, located in the Alcobaça region of Lisbon, a historic area and with traditions that stem from the legacy left by the Cistercian monks.
This rose wine is a very gastronomic rosé and expresses the Atlantic freshness and minerality of the region. Beautiful pink in color. Most pronounced are aromas of citrus and orchard fruits, notes of flowers, nuts, and toast.
Hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressing without destemming. Fermentation in stainless steel vat with indigenous yeasts, and without temperature control. Maturation in stainless steel for four months.
Espera Rose is dry, acidic, minerally, fruity, and flowery.
