The Gerações da Talha winery is located in Vila de Frades and dates from the mid 18th century. It is a place of traditions and knowledge of generations that have been working to perfect the magnificent talha wines.

This winery was acquired by Francisco Nogueira Anacleto, who inherited it and masterfully transmitted the art and wisdom of carved wine to the generations that followed it. A tradition that has been welcomed with great passion by his son-in-law, Professor Arlindo Maria Ruivo, who has dedicated his life to this precious and unique nectar that is the Talha Wine, as well as by the children and grandchildren, who have been seduced by this ancient knowledge, and whose generations have driven the Gerações da Talha project.

This is a project that was born to praise, affirm, and maintain the genuine production of Talha Wine that has persisted for more than 2 millennia, and which is well evident in the wineries and people of the land.

Gerações da Talha Farrapo Branco white wine is a perfect example of the structure and balance that comes from a Talha Wine. The tannic structure is the result of the grapes being fermented with the skins and stems, it is supported by balanced acidity and fresh fruitiness. The wine, due to its production technique, has not been stabilized, nor has it undergone any artificial filtration, so it can create a natural deposit in the bottle.
