What am I: Chinado wines come from unique old vines, between 40 and 60 years old, in the Alcobaça area of the Lisbon region. After harvest, the bunches were left whole for the press, and transferred to used barrel. Naturally fermented throughout the month of October 2018, the wine had weekly battonage, made the fermentation malo-lactic acid of its free and spontaneous will, and stayed there for the next 9 months. And once cleaned and stabilized it was bottled in May of 2020. Minimal sulfur used, 200 bottles produced.
