What am I: Domínio Vicari is a family farming project in Monte Belo do Sul, located in the heart of the Brazilian wine region of Serra Gaúcha, led by Lizete Vicari and her son, winemaker José Augusto Vicari Fasolo. They are a family-owned and operated business.

Focused on the production of spontaneous fermentation wines with minimal intervention and without the use of oenological inputs, the project was born in 2007 in Praia do Rosa in Santa Catarina. This wine is from the first vintage of their new project in Portugal.

Domínio Vicari makes unique wines, made with artisanal processes, produced with wild yeasts, neither clarified nor filtered and do not pass through wood and do not contain added sulfur dioxide. Even the flowers in the labels express the use of natural cover crops in both Brazil and Portugal. These are wines without additives for the grape to express its full potential; wine without masks.

Hibisco Tinto is made from Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Trincadeira and is fermented only in stainless steel. It sees one week of maceration with the skins.
