What am I: Quinta do Paço is a family property, with a total of twenty hectares, ten of which are dedicated to the vineyard and certified organic. This Quinta is home to Rodrigo Filipe and his Humus wines. Rodrigo is one of the pioneering and most experimental and exciting natural wine producers in Portugal. The winery is located in the demarcated region of Óbidos, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra dos Candeeiros mountains.

Humus Branco is a natural, organic, and vegan white wine made with the Arinto and Fernao Pires varieties. After harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is fermented with native yeasts and aged in old 225-liter oak barrels. The wine is bottled without clarifying or filtering.

This wine has aromas of ripe white fruit with toasted notes. On the palate, it is fresh, complex, and balanced. A full-bodied white wine with very lively acidity and crisp minerality.

Pair with grilled seafood, fish rice, baked white fish, light pasta with vegetables.
