What am I: Maximo's is a part of Alveirão, is the biological cellar of the Faria Vieira family. They have been producing wines since the 19th century in the unique and peaceful village of Chícharo. Their brands include Encostas do Vale Godinho as well as Maximo's.
The white vineyard is harvested and fermented as a whole. When determining the harvest date, they found a compromise between the sugars of Fernão Pires and Malvasia Fina and the acidity of Arinto. The wine was aged between 24 to 36 months in stainless steel and bottle, ensuring a similar profile over the years.
Golden-yellow in color, discreet on the nose, but with evident notes of flowers, and white-fleshed fruit. Fresh, full-bodied, and persistent.
