What am I: Maximo's is a part of Alveirão, is the biological cellar of the Faria Vieira family. They have been producing wines since the 19th century in the unique and peaceful village of Chícharo. Their brands include Encostas do Vale Godinho as well as Maximo's.
Maximo's Tinto is a "terroir" wine. In a year, generally hot and dry, the grapes reached maturation with an irreproachable quality. The grape varieties that best adapted to the climatic year were Castelão, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional. Maximo's Tinto is concentrated, maintaining the original elegance of wines from the limestone soils of Alveirão.
An opaque wine, concentrated in color, notes of red fruit ripe, cherry, notes of violet and cassis in good conjunction with wood. Structured, with a long and elegant finish.
